The Texas 1031 Exchange Company was founded by Mr. Carlos Melick, CPA. Many of you remember Mr. Melick from his days with Ernst & Ernst and more recently from many of the tax seminars he presented in the late 80's and 90's. Mr. Melick became the "go to" resource for other tax professionals who needed his expertise as a qualified intermediary. In 2003, Mr. Melick decided to retire and sold his ownership of the company to close associates. Today, these associates still operate The Texas 1031 Exchange Company with the same goals of integrity and service. The Texas 1031 Exchange Company serves clients all over the United States although most come to us as referrals from CPA's, attorneys, and real estate professionals throughout Texas. While we do advertise in several professional and industry specific publications, client referral is our greatest asset. Please feel free to call us.
